I've noticed that some (or most of) the cars are faster then me on the straights...My steering wheel has just two pedals, so I've to use auto clutch and simple gear...Is it possible that the gear changing is that slower?
It was something like this with the F1600, but it was not that much I would say....thanks for you help...

Yes 'simple gear' -shifting is (a lot) slower, the same thing as with the F1600/F1800 -not as much slower as with this cars, but almost-.
Unlucky you don't have a clutch pedal.. . I suggest to maybe remove the shifttime in a further release of the car completely -just using the same method as the KS2 does, a direct sequencial shift, just if possible to 'program' that for the Gvb (?)-, so that guys with two pedals have the same possibilities.

But one moment Wink, I forgot the third method: You just have to turn 'simple gear' off and 'auto clutch' on, that way you can change gears a lot quicker than with the 'simple gear' option by releasing the gas a bit at the moment of the upshift. This method is used by many of the drivers (including Batina). Have a look at the Gallardo thread in the main forum, there is currently linked a video by Roberto F., there you see 'how to' drive that way.
Personally I don't like that method, because it's still some moments slower than H-shift of course.. (and in your case the additional 'auto clutch' takes a very few milliseconds of the accerleration at each upshift, but that is minor) and sometimes I miss the upshift when the gas is not released syncron enough (require more practice).

I guess Maarten is unbeatable in a race when no mistakes happen, judging the replay he probably saves most of the laptime by drifting 100% controlled through the three fast corners at the last track-section. My pb is 1:33.528 min. at the moment (in practice one hour ago), but still with 6l fuel out of the box -5l at the begin of the lap-, maybe I can find 2-3 tenth with less fuel. But the fuel amount does not make a huge difference with that car, unless you drive with 99l Wink, but even then the car is only slightly slower (at braking).

mmhhhh....you are right Marco...it is quite embarassing to see how the other car are faster on the straight...can anyone that has three pedal do a quick test to have an idea of how many seconds it is slower by using autoclutch and simple gear? I would say between 1-1.5s, but I have no value to support this...

I think I will have to change my steering wheel... :-(

I've just fixed my cable for my H-shifter and was immediately faster.
My personal best was 1:34,1 and now I did 1:33,5 on my first flyer.

So it it at least 0,6 sec faster, something like 0,6 - 1,0 secs.

regarding me, I won't tell my setup at this (early) time. Just too keep some advantage for the champ races Wink. After the champ. I could share Wink.
Two days ago I got back to my prato-setup and 'found out' having more grip at the rear with that 'older' setup (better in the faster corners in second sector) + in addition to some more improved susp. settings this setup is the fastest for me by now. A1 Ring needs btw. also some certain diff. setting to be save and quickest with the handling all the time, my diff. is set up in the same way (I mean 'way' not always the exact 'values' as there) as with the A1 Ring - KS2 setup I uploaded to the rank -that should be enough hint by now Wink-.

Groups will be based on the Live Timing for this race. This will help having racers with similar pace on the same server, and hopefully have more fun.

If you find any weird time on the live time, please report it to Luca Mosca via PM. Thanks for your help.
    See you on track!

Apropos setup.., thx to the/my testing with the Gvb, finding best susp. settings, I now seem to have improved the setup for KS2 (and hopefully to the other cars too) as well. I always used almost the exact susp. values of a v1.3b base setup Mika gave me back then before Hungaroring race and did never tried to completely change some of the values, but now I've tried s.th. 'different' -like I use with Gvb- at the KS2 suspension.. and it seems to be better at least on some tracks.
So I'm looking forward to the KS2 races as well, maybe I'm quicker now especially regarding the race pace (which almost was not at top at most races compared to the other top pilots), though bahrain for example was never a really 'good one' for me, I'll see.

Btw. what is 'funny': A few days back after many Gvb laps I switched back to the KS2, just wanting to improve my Sepang laptime, and it turned out that it was in certain ways a 'hell of a difference' driving that car (the KS2) again -after being quite 'adopted' to the Gvb-, ..I lost rear at acceleration out of the last corner all the time at first for an example, it took me 60 min. of driving to get back to my pace and right handling regarding the brake- and gas- pedals with the KS2 again, after I (the brain) was being grained mainly to the Gvb.. Smile.
-Finally I succeeded to improve the Sepang laptime from 1:40.9 (driven just at the very first testing on some first few laps there close before the Gvb came out) to 1:40.1, but it took me more than an hour to get used to the KS2 again.

Same problem here Marco...yesterday I tried the Ftarget at Magny Course, and I was not able to drive it anymore, lapping 5s slower then Juan, when normally I can get quite close to his time!!! After one hour of driving I was a bit faster but still far away from doing decent laps!!!

    it's in our Rulebook

If you crash your car you can always press "esc -> go to pit -> fix car", and continue your race. No penalty will be assigned.

    Rulebook wrote:
    Crashes

In case of a crash in the first 5 corners of the event, RSR Marshals will review the incident and penalize the driver(s) that caused the incident. This is called the "red zone". The penalty for causing a crash in the red zone will be a 6 point deduction. Exceptions may be made in outstanding circumstances.

In case of a crash outside the red zone, drivers are free to "Escape to Pits" to fix their cars. There is no penalty for this action.

if you are alone on the track, just press ESC > NEXT SESSION to move to the qualifications. netKar doesn't allow you to race in 1.
