Main features
DirectX 11 graphic source
Multisample sound source
Advanced physics motor
Advanced tire math model
Professional data analysis support through AIM-SportLine software
Tracks
The tracks have been reproduced in order to guarantee not only a fine degree of technical training, but also to allow drivers to take advantage of any type of car to its maximum performance, be that in testing, or online. 3D objects, surfaces and layout have been generated to re-create a truly involving environment for racing. The Laserscan Technology guarantees the highest fidelity as for the real tracks.
Vehicles
The vehicles have been modeled using accurate telemetry data and engineering consultancy from their real models world. Their behavior has been tested by professional racing drivers and race engineers to guarantee ultimate realism. The physics motor manages a considerable amount of data, such as tire temperature, chassis torque, weight distribution, suspension geometry, pace, track, braking system characteristics and so on, in order to obtain a performance’s realism good to please also the most experienced drivers.
Tires
Assetto Corsa’s motor features dynamic tire surfaces which change not only the tires’ behavior but also its appearance during the race. With the tire’s appearance changing to reflect the deterioration and the driving changes, not only will the driver feel the differences but also will be able to see it, giving a whole new dimension to tire management in simulated motor sports.

Very cool stuff. Really nice how the AI holds its line. Aris and Kunos joking about the new "creature"...priceless!

I already see my wife pressing the "close application" button when I'm too noisy or when I've to help her out
Reminder for my self: never show this video to her if I want to enjoy AC in peace!

In the video description the user says: "one of the best compromises between Sim and Fun i came across in a long time."
I really hope he's wrong and that maybe he drove with the aid activated...

According to what Kunos said in the past, everything is configurable. I'm pretty sure we can have same level of simulation we are used to. It's just that there will be more options so that it can be used and enjoyed by a wider range of people.

Very well. Then I change my "hope". I hope that the servers will be configurable to restrict partially or totally the use of aid.
