06 Jan 2011: Monza RSR - Page 3 Empty .... driver standings updated?

Post by Marcello Gabrielli Sun Jan 09, 2011 10:47 am

    Hi people or the crew

Did you finished to check the replay of group C races?
Looking at the driver standings, i've seen no penalities have been applied.
    Thank you for your work.

Those are the penalties for Monza's race.
Please let us know if is there any error.

We will update the results before the next race.

Pressing ESC and then straight back on track: Penalty: disqualified from the race
    Group A No one.
    Group B De Gioia (Race1), Canseco(Race1)
    Group C Boni(Race1), Barmashoof (Race1), Barba (Race1), Ledda (Race2)

Red zone + other reported incidents
    Group A
    Kehagias warning: incident at T1.
La Monaca warning: not respecting blue flags

    Group B
    Scollo warning: at T4
Foresta warning: dangerous driving at T4 (braking extremely late at T3)
De Gioia warning: parked his car in unsafe position

    Group C
    Barmashoff warning: dangerous driving
Naboyshchikov warning: crash in the main straight on the 1st lap
Dellera warning: crash in the main straight on the 1st lap
Boni Warning: Not respecting blue flags and unsafe release at T1 causing accident

in Group C almost everyone would need a warning!
I think that the video, is self explaining.
We don't want to have those kind of races in our championship. If we want to have fun every driver should stick to the rules, otherwise we will just waste our time.

Furthermore there was a lot of Lag in that server. This might be due to bad client connections also. I hope everyone can ensure to have a proper ping and connection to have nice and safe races.

Just as a reminder here is our most important rule:

Rule 5 (a.k.a. 5 corners rule): It is important to pay attention especially in the first part of the race, where all cars are close to each other. For this reason, we define per each track the “red zone”, where the 5 corners rule applies. 5 corners is just a convention. For each track the red zone might be extended till a safer zone.
The responsibility of all drivers is to avoid incidents in the first corners which can have massive consequences and therefore all participants must be careful.
Starts must be as clean and incident-free as possible. The finish line is not at the first turn. Turn 1 cannot be approached as it happens during the qualification session. The tires are cold, the car is heavy and the track crowded. Drivers must act wisely and drive safely for themselves and for the other participants, for example by:
    o braking earlier than normal
o maintaining a safe distance from the other cars during the first corners
o giving enough space to other drivers with some margin for error by other participants

Any collision from behind will result in the driver behind being considered as the guilty driver, unless the car in front has lost control.
In case of accident on the “red zone” the Race Director could penalize the drivers directly.

i would add on group B chesi not respecting blue flag, and causing the leader to collide and loose any points in the race, remember he was reported also at melbourne of being dangerous driver to lap, failing to give way to the leaders, even though he said sorry its second time he is in that situation, even worst cause killed the leader (race1 groupB)

after further investigation Gilles was disqualified also since he went straight back on track after the incident without waiting 5 laps

So the following drivers have been penalized:
    Group A Gilles (Race1)
    Group B De Gioia (Race1), Canseco(Race1)
    Group C Boni(Race1), Barmashoof (Race1), Barba (Race1), Ledda (Race2)

Other drivers chatted during the race.
    This is strictly prohibited.
We hope that that will never happen anymore.

We spend a lot of our time checking replays and logs, just because people don't follow the rules.
We wish everyone could be a read carefully our rules and follow them.

From now on, we will check only if we will receive a PM or a request of investigation on the forum.
