Doesn't happen too often to see the Alien, Greger Huttu, on nKPRO.
Enjoy his lap at Suzuka on KS2

" I didn't drive the FVA much, but this feels more enjoyable to me, not
as understeery. I still have a better feeling with the iRacing F1 car,
with the KS2 and nKPro cars in general the understeer feels a bit odd.
Feels like the car is either cornering fine or picking up massive
understeer. I think the tyre skid sound contributes to that feeling
since it comes on too early and isn't dynamic enough. Heavy braking
feels great in the KS2, though." - Greger

for understeer native of KS2 I share his opinion, an adjustment of weight distribution and engine braking would be welcome

Huttu gets a free subscription from iracing so it's no wonder he throws the "iracing feels better" line in there.

Really? Was that a prize (along with the $10,000) for winning the road world championship, or just because he's a sim racing celebrity? Razz

I thought Towler won $10,000 and Huttu got a free weekend in a real race car and yes he does get a free subscription. Just think how many guys would follow him if he left iracing. Wink

Towler won the oval world championship (a Brit' beating the yanks)! The Star Mazda test at Road Atlanta was a separate thing for Top Gear magazine I think. TBH if I was as quick as him & winning $10,000 prizes iRacing would make prefect financial sense. As a bit of a peasant though, nKPro gives a lot more pleasure for a lot lot less.

Yeah Towler got 10,000 for winning the oval championship. Huttu won the road and it was iracing who got him into a real car. Top Gear just followed and was in on the story. It only makes sense that he gets a free sub because how could a guy who doesn't have a drivers license and who doesn't own a car afford iracing? Not to mention there are alot of guys who join iracing just because Huttu is there. Redline is pretty much exclusively iracing last I heard. Just my two cents. Laughing

I thought they said in the Top Gear article that he drove a Ford Sierra (the link has been removed now). Maybe he doesn't have a drivers license, the Finns seem to be born with a talent for driving Razz

I guess sometime during his lifetime he has driven a real car but doesn't drive one regularly. I didn't read the article though I just watched a video somewhere. I think it was an iracing video. Eh....fast guys come from all over the planet. Finns just stick out because they aren't known for anything else... Wink

Apart from drinking and Sauna's (and the Sauna world championships have been permanently cancelled after that person died). For a small population the Finn's have had a lot of Rally & F1 world champions.

it is a boy who is still very strong, soon find the right set of KS2 and make such a clock !!!!!!exchange simulation favorites right now is pretty interesting, a lot, disappointed with the KS2 and versions 1.02, happening in iRacing and vice versa, the guys used to drop by iRacing NetKar in no doubt that that will be released at this time a simulation Class of 2010 GPLégend with cars will be a great success, I think the guys RFactor2, have certainly thought

I think rFactor2 is like the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow...it doesn't exist. Laughing
The average sim racer doesn't want realism realistic physics. They may say they want it but they really don't. I'll use iracing for example. I was a member there for awhile before I realised I was getting ripped off. The members wanted a better transmission model. So they "tried" and iracing put one out. It still sucked but all the members did was use a macro to bring it back to the old arcadey transmission model. Titles like simbin keep on getting more arcadey with every game they put out. GTR2 is one of my favourite sims still but the damage model is pretty bad considering you can hit a wall at 200km/hr and still keep driving. Codemasters dirt series is very popular and RBR has never come out with a sequel. RBR is the BEST sim of all time but it seems like it's only popular with a few in europe. Those are just some examples of games that prove the average sim racer doesn't want realism. Again just my two cents. Very Happy

yes you are right Jeff, a simulator is not too difficult commercial damage in the SimBin GTR1 was fine after that went on drivability, and all the rest GTlegend when Codemaster has no need to talk ! lol it's anything
damage also NetKar also take a priori that direction! I do not know if it's coming mod "rain" that will change something (ask a F1 driver if he prefers to run in the rain or the dry! lol it do only one side add Arcade!
    which certainly entertain a few!
version 1.1 for me was perfect, it would have been wiser to add some additional setting options, an option to choose different tires,
Finally, let us not be too hard, waiting for the 1.03, hoping it will give that side the Osella
brutal and a little monster (depending on its engine) that characterizes so in reality
when the vintage, why not! for those who want to drive a car surmotorisé on a chassis that does not make sense, and which occasionally hampers

I'm not a big fan of racing in the rain either...lol. Richard Burns Rally is very hard in the rain. Although I did like night racing in GTR2. Night racing at Spa is awesome!

Yes Jeff, I did it once (24 hours of Spa) on the addon GTR1 with Aston Martin was a real pleasure,GTR2 but I found that the excessive understeer native of cars that should be corrected at once of adjustments untimely ruin a little celebration

I hadn't watched it having read the article which's online now; http://www.topgear.com/uk/photos/geek-rebooted-2010-11-26 I laughed when they had to give an explanation for Kimi-like in the video (I forget America doesn't care about the rest of the world Razz). It was interesting seeing him on track, but not that informative. The bit when he's in the classroom, I would have rather just watched that Smile
