To reduce weaving and possible collisions, drivers may only make ONE defensive move between each straight. For example, if driver "a" has the inside line, they may switch to the outside to block. This is classed as a single move. Driver "b" may attack as many times as he likes.

who allocate Vanore in group B))) he was too fast for group B!)) we have no chance to catch him))) so my race was like testings) i was driving driving with no chance to catch Vanore, it was a little battle with Dawson for a couple of laps, i was faster, loose my time but couldn`t overtake him, but after a couple of laps he entered in pits, so i get a clear track. Cause i couldnt get Vanore, so i was not pushing hard and wasnt on limits.. so just drive and try not to make a mistakesecond place after all in a lap with Vanore)

lol Oleg! If i was bored everytime i couldn't catch someone, this one would be really boring. Mika and Fox were way too fast for everyone in group A, as i was the only one still on the lead lap after this race! I was cruising as well, with no chance to catch up, but i had fun :-)

great drive by my teammate Mika, seems i'm becoming thw webber in this redbull team :-D

if id have known gek would put in a PB which was -0.2s faster than he had done this week in qual, id have pushed a bit harder. i thought my lap was enough but obviously not. very close battle in qual and an awesome lap fox, well done! has that ever been done before? Very Happy

regarding this, im still not sure why he is allowed the pole position point where im not. i set the time first and in less laps, yet he still gets the points. yet again i feel like im being biased away from me. i believe we should both get the same points for this. whats the reason for this andrea?

i had a pretty shocking start really. the car was sliding so much due to temps which allowed gek to be -2/3s up on the first lap. i also had some defending to due from clive in the first few laps, but i started to pull away. the distance between fox and i stayed roughly the same for the first 10 laps or so. we were both making silly mistakes which allowed us to gain a second or loose a second. eventually i started to catch him and put him under some pressure. he made a mistake out the 1st chicane which allowed me to pass. i cant remember how far ahead i was up until my (only) pitstop, i think i was something like -12s. once the pitstops were finished, i was about -10s ahead, but he started to catch me slowly, about -0.5s per lap. at the rate he was going, he would have caught me with 8 laps to go. i decided to start pushing but i kept making stupid mistakes (and backmarkers were a nuisance - they need warnings!). with 3 laps to go i guess gek made a mistake or something as the race finished with him almost 30s behind.

congrats to maarten too, he was on the pace for the first stint but i dont know what happened in the 2nd :p we almost collided when i came out the pits. i might make a video as it was quite funny Very Happy

as said, ill miss valencia as im on holiday. i get back the day before silverstone so we'll see if ill race.

have a good summer everyone! see you in a few weeks Smile

The reason is that we usually take the results as they are, without altering them. Altering results is usually not very simple, so I prefer to do it only in case it's strictly necessary. nK put you in second place, for some reasons, and same did gpcos when I entered the results. At the end it's just one point.

If I'm not mistaken, we had once a similar case, in which two drivers arrived together on the finish line.

Well done to both of you guys. Tremendous lap times!
You couldn't be closer than that!

Have a nice vacation, Mika. We are all gonna miss you, Gek in particular ::crying::

Evil or Very Mad
Razz

    Bella lotta, e bellissima gara.

Well that's wrong (within nKPro I mean). The driver that sets the time first should have pole. At the 1997 European Grand Prix 3 drivers set the same quali' time (Schumacher, Villeneuve, Frentzen). Dead heats are different, I don't think there's a convention to deal with one, has it ever happened in F1? I remember someone posted a screenshot on GPC of 3 cars in a dead heat Razz

Here's a second replay of montreal, I uploaded that yesterday, so if not posted this link would have been with no use.
    montreal2011.3_replay_groupA
    (edit: now at sendspace)

It contains also a replay-file snippet with that incident I had with Clive after the chicane.
Sometimes I think some drivers seem to get a bit angry for some moments after their own unfortunate moments, because of the heat of a race (and probably try to take
other's out of race too in worst case..).
But that does not matter now anymore, all of it (incident) was already discussed yesterday in chat.

My general speed was crap, just when fuel was getting less I was able to drive 'faster' laps / normal laptimes.
Like I said already yesterday in chat before race, I used just 6 rear wing, which was not a good choice... Very Happy Wink (everywhere sliding, understeering and oversteering..),
also I unnecessary understeered in corner 5 and touched the wall sometimes there demolishing my front wheel axis.. Very Happy in second stint after my pitstop (after the spoken crash).

Marco, it's a 94 Mb download! please cut it. Can you please upload it elsewhere (mediafire or filefront), because I need to wait 5 minutes in rapidshare before I can download it with a free account.

I could pack it into a rar archive (like my last uploads), that saves some MBs.
For me such waiting time in rapidshare is not a problem, why not just open a new tab or window while you're doing other things online and
after the waiting time it's ready to download Wink.

edit: now updated the download-link in my postig above (a RAR archive with highest compression at sendspace, but it only saved 9 MB of space compared to the zip-archive before, so no
    huge difference).
