    Yes my cam is supported by freetrack, which was a relief as I can save a few more $$$$$ Smile

    After upgrading to Windows 7 I tested FreeTrack again & now it detects my webcam (maybe cos my built-in one doesn't work in Win' 7).

    Here are the old bits I used:

    Exquisite! Now it is just a matter of mass production! Very Happy

    PS: Now that you are using a "head movement tracking device", you can think about trying to race with a smaller FOV... I'm currently using something between 30~40 (at first it felt weird, but then once I became used to it, never look back) on most cars, and this helped me to be more precise on race lines and timings.

    How do you get your best lap time numbers green on the steering wheel?

    The C:\nkpro13\cars\FormulaKS2\nkdk\testDash.nkd file, you can change the colour, size & I think brightness of the readout.

    Still havn't gotten around to doing this project, been a little busy, and having no serious electronics store close at hand doesn't help.

    Thanks for the pics of your DIY set up Albert, glad to here it works on win7 for you.

    BTW is there an actual thread for this topic???.... maybe one should be started, if there isnt one.

    These bits (in bold)

    BASEFRAME=STEER
    BASEPOS=0.0,0.00,-0.00

    BEGIN CGearDisplay

    TEXTURE=font2.tga
    POSITION=-0.008,0.076,-0.001
    WIDTH=0.02
    HEIGHT=0.02
    COLOR=1.0,0.0,0.0

    END

    Albert sent me a powerpoint presentation explaining the colours, here are a couple pages:

    I know there has been some recent speculation about what the M stands for, but it isn't albert Razz I think we could probably make a few topics out of this thread Smile
