So this is a new version that will replace the old one?
I see a new nurberg ring also.
Will these be applicable on the pro rank page?
I think new tracks are like christmas all over again. Dont get me wrong. But what if tracks keep on being released over old tracks, and soon we have 3 versions of every track. This will be very confusing for people trying to find the right one for online play or the pro rank site and so on.
Is there some way or coordinating releases and "active builds"?
Same with Crema. Amazing job from radiator springs. But now I have both the original and new one and I have to keep double tracks because I cant be sure which version will be run online.
Edit: Aaaahh! Now I see, sorry. This is 2010 version. 2001 as existed and active on pro rank is better in layout,.But it's very nice to have both indeed.

This is a new track converted from Simbin GTL. In fact the layout itself it's different from the old Spa (2001 layout) converted from Grand Prix 4.

For this reason, this track has been released with a new name Spa 2010, to be different from the previous.

For the same reason we released our Crema RSR with a new name, because it's finally possible to have a proper online experience, and 2 different track layout for sector1 and sector2. This will replace the old Crema in the nkrank.

This is done to separate tracks that are not compatible between each other, and to avoid mismatches.

Oh it will replace the old one in pro rank too.
So leaderboards will be wiped or lap times should be no different?
does someone know if new tracks will be added to the pro rank site? There are many great tracks missing.

I spoke to Jaap lately, and his intention is to wipe out times on the rank as soon as the v1.3 is out (I will suggest as soon as the v1.3 get stable).

He will introduce some of the new tracks also. Usually on the rank not every track/layout is tracked to help people to complete the rank.

Technically both versions of Spa should be there. The 2001 layout and the 2010 layout.

OMG! I just tried this version of Spa, and it looks absolutely amazing! I go to Spa often for classics races, and it looks VERY much the same. The elevations (Eau Rouge especially) are spot on. Very impressed!! Thanks alot for this track!

    ciao marco
