Re: Zandvoort WIP
Nice work, Fox! I liked this track very much in iRacing and from what I tried so far this seem to be not too far off the laser scanned version.
For my own personal amusement. Where does this track pick up the sky from? Can I change it somehow?

Re: Zandvoort WIP
I agree with your considerations about the track layout. Luckily Gek got some very accurate data, found after months of research on anything concerning Zandvoort circuit. We were helping him a lot to fine tune the track and we are pretty happy about the result. It's pretty close to the real track except from some minor details we are aware of.
Most importantly the track is so fun to drive. Yesterday we had our first championship race over there, and it was a blast!

Re: Zandvoort WIP
Yes with any car this track has a very nice flow and rythm.
Here is a suggestion of a little color correction that suits my eyes better, just a matter of taste. The current original road goes towards green, this color can give a little funky impression.
Altered grass, road and sky.
I'm a photographer.. usually you say grass is green.. but in color values grass is more towards yellow IRL. Imo the grass is too green and look artificial in the original file, sky is too saturated blue and road too much towards green. Not to critique just som alternative you can think about maybe.

Wow Tomas, I really like that screen! I share your thoughts too: at the moment there seems to be quite a difference from the track itself and the sky, you notice a very big contrast. In your screen it is more uniform.

Re: Zandvoort WIP
Hi all.
Had a race on this track recently, fun track, cheers. But we had some small issues.
You're probably aware that the timing on the Short track isn't working, the lap time never starts.
But, there was something weird on the full circuit as well. We were getting weird lap times. Something like gaining about 1 second faster laps totally at random. A few of us noticed it, have any of you?
It doesn't affect the racing, but still worth looking into I guess.

Re: Zandvoort WIP
Hi! I have very little time to work on these things nowadays, my wheel have even went into the closet.
If I get time I will work some more on it and upload something, Fox.. in the meantime, I noticed there is some problems with alignment of the thin stripe between grass and road.. I would suggest to make that a little wider to work on some nice textures.
But most importent, it stretches the textres very much in some places so I guess some vertecis are not good for mapping all around the track..

Re: Zandvoort WIP
Happy near year to all.
Thanks for this great track!
I was testing with F1800@Zandvoort Full Gp and discovered the finish line bug.
I attach below a video of it.
Zabdvoort finish line bug
i cant seem to find a way for the vid to be visible
I already reported my time to Jaap for the rank.
