    IMPORTANT:

We will NOT use FULL MODE for this race also, and most probabily it will be like this for a while, until Kunos will find some time to fix those bugs.
Please read our NO FULL MODE rules.

we sightly changed the procedure, so have a look to it

-I noticed a few seconds ago: the entry list shows 20 allocated drivers in group C at the moment (the orange one) which can not be (15 max.), seems there is something wrong with the display of the group C - D.

    One very important note.
In case you decide not to race, please update your status.

Last race we had 6 drivers that wrote YES in their allocation, but then didn't show up.
Since we were 62 allocated drivers last time we had to use 5 servers, with 2 half grids.
With a proper allocation of all drivers everything would have been more simple and people would have had more fun being in full servers.

For us is important to know in advance the correct amount of server to set up, so, please place it as soon as possible and keep your allocation updated.

    Thanks for your cooperation

Thanks to the suggestions of some of our users, I updated the KS2 Series Info.

Note that I created other small guides also, available through the CHAMPIONSHIP menu on our website.

Please let me know if this is enough, even for the new guys on board.

Can someone tell me if you have problems with tires temperature in Barcelona?
because whatever i tried with my setup after 3-4 laps my temperatures are above 100 degrees on the left side.
I 've tried everything, from wings to suspension and camber but with no use, the result was almost the same. race - 02 Dec 2010: Barcelona - Page 2 838853
So I wonder how are we suppose to race 25 laps with no tire grip?

Is there anything that i could do in order to keep my tires in normal temps? other than to go in 1:28,++

ehehehe, i start to be crazy for the same reason.
In melbourne tyre temp for me work fine from start to end race.
But here is different, after some laps tyre temp is really too high and i've a lot problem with understeering.
If u fix understeering then the problem is the oversteering.
With full load i cannot go under 1.26 and 1.27 after some laps, too slow damn.

As someone suggested, here is text we will write during the briefing, in both English and Italian.
The briefing will be held in English only. We hope this can help the people that doesn't understand English very well.
You can use the translate button on the bar below.

    ENGLISH
Welcome to the second official event of the Formula K2 Series
Thanks a lot to everyone for choosing us.
To have a good champioship, we need your help though! We want clean races, and respectful drivers.

The race will be with password, and there will be multiple servers online.
Tonight we will start racing at Barcelona GP

    We will do 2 races:

    Qualify: 30 min
    Race 1: 12 laps
    Warmup 5 minutes
Race 2: 28 laps (inverted grid for the first 6 drivers)

For the first 2 events (Melbourne and Barcelona)
we will use for every group the Points Distribution: RSRpoints_B_C
IMPORTANT NOTE: you don't have to disconnect between Race1 and Race 2.

Drivers must have acceptable connections to the server.
Acceptable means limited warping, swerving or lagging.

Do not compete using a Wireless (WiFi or HSDPA key) internet connection,
but only with a wired connection.

Disable any software or hardware that may influence the speed and stability
    of your internet connection.

This means turning off programs like Emule, MSN Messenger,
    Windows Automatic Updates et cetera.

The event consists in four races divided in 3 phases:
"Stay in Pit", "Qualification" and "Race"
In the "Stay in Pit" phase users should simply wait.

The purpose of the "Stay in pit" session is to let all drivers to connect and check
for problems (ping times, setup, skin etc):

you are allowed to disconnect and reconnect during this session
and you are allowed to chat.

There will be a qualification session before each race where you can drive
as many laps as you want to gain your grid position.

In case of crash, drive to the box to repair if your car is SAFELY DRIVEABLE

be careful to NOT BLOCK other drivers with your damaged car.
This is a gentlemen championship, so we expect that everyone
will be the controller of him self.

If you violate track rules, you will self assign your penalty
    (for example a drive through)!

    IMPORTANT Original rule modified:
If you will Press ESC - GO TO PIT/BOX then your will need to wait 10 minutes (or 5 laps) before you can go on track again.
This is valid in all sessions except in the waiting times (WARMUP).

During Qualification you always need to do your in-lap to go back to the box.

CHAT is not allowed during sessions "Qualify" and "Race",
it is allowed only during "Stay in pit".

This means that you if you want to say something say it during "Stay in Pit"
or after the last driver have ended his race .

Stay in pit session: once you join the server you will be placed in the
    "Stay in pit" session.

This session is for allowing everyone joining the session and to
    solve problems.

Drivers with high ping should try to reconnect.
If the problem will not be solved they can't participate to the race.

    Rule 5 (a.k.a. 5 corners rule):
It is important to pay attention especially in the first part of the race,
where all cars are close to each other.

For this reason, we define per each track the “red zone”,
where the 5 corners rule applies. 5 corners is just a convention.

For each track the red zone might be extended till a safer zone.

The responsibility of all drivers is to avoid incidents in the first corners which
can have massive consequences and therefore all participants must be careful.

Starts must be as clean and incident-free as possible.
The finish line is not at the first turn.

Turn 1 cannot be approached as it happens during the qualification session.
The tires are cold, the car is heavy and the track crowded.

Drivers must act wisely and drive safely for themselves
and for the other participants, for example by:

    o braking earlier than normal
o maintaining a safe distance from the other cars during the first corners
o giving enough space to other drivers with some margin for error by other participants

Any collision from behind will result in the driver behind being considered as the guilty driver,
unless the car in front has lost control.

In case of accident on the “red zone”
the Race Director could penalize the drivers directly.
I really hope anyone will do his up most to have a fair play

Also new rule from now on applies to the warm up session,
it is no longer allowed to go through the grid in that session,

all drivers that go warm up they can do as many laps on the track as they want,
    but passing through the pitlane,

so the people who wants to go to grid directly, they are safe from any collision.

To have a good champioship, we need your help!
We want clean races, and respectful drivers.

We expect that everyone will stick to our rules, and will avoid aggressive driving and flames on track and forum.
Our servers will always be monitored, so have a correct behaviour on track.

    Stasera correremo a Barcellona GP

    Faremo due gare:

    Qualifica: 30 min
    Gara 1: 12 giri
    Warmup 5 minuti

L'evento consiste in quattro gare divise in 3 fasi:
"Stay in pit", "Qualifica" e "Race"

    IMPORTANTE norma originale modificata:

è consentito solo durante "Stay in pit".

    sessione "Stay in pit".

    risolvere i problemi.

Noi vogliamo gare pulite, e piloti rispettosi.

Ora siamo quasi pronti a partire.

Altra serata molto travagliata per me.

    my Barcelona races:

I had not my best day, made somewhere here, somewhere there little mistakes in case of driving / controlling the car to make good laps.
First race was bad luck, because in lap 2 I crashed into Lagneau after the chicane, who lost his car and was standing reverse on the track.
So my car was big damaged since I broke my rear axle also at the wall -car not moveable afterwards.., so I pressed 'ESC back to pits' and went out again after another 5laps were finished (regarding what my time monitor showed in the box).. .

In race two I lost a little bit control on a bump in the chicane with the heavy car (probably the car was setting on the ground) and had to brake a little bit to aviod losing the rear completely, unfortunately another driver was (a bit too close) behind me at this moment so that he touched my rear ->so both cars damaged. I could drive back to pits (which was a bit difficult, because I lost my car at the begin of the pitlane and turned 180°, lol, but noone was harmed) and continue the race, but afterwards there were much blue flags of course -so I had to drive beside the track several times to let them pass- and also a few mistakes of myself (lost rear a few times and had to catch it by braking hard) so because of this things I lost much time and ended up -2 laps behind the leader.

i cant really describe how amazing and perfect that was. i had battles with about 6 guys, all very fair, clean, equal and fast. i must congratulate everyone who took part, for giving us such an incredible race. all drivers are fair and equal, and the races have put a smile on my face.

thanks to everyone involved, and thanks to all the admins for making this possible.

see you at the big M Wink

there comes a point in a race where you have to defend your position and line. in my eyes, i did nothing wrong and did not intend to annoy / frustrate / upset you. i believe it was a clean and fair fight, and thats how racing is. sure its hard and i make mistakes, but i did not zigzag across the road, i was simply defending my line like you do. please dont be cross because i didnt mean to upset you. its racing and you didnt pass, so you will get upset - it happens to everyone and its not nice Sad im sorry if i pissed you off or anything, but i didnt mean it
