Like Claudio mentioned: the new tire model changes behaviour with all cars and in the same way.. .
Driving with the KS2 is good, I like it.. . But I tired the F1800 at Mugello with my same setup as I used in v1.1 before and there is a huge difference (massive understeering at the entrance of corners), so this car
maybe doesn't feel that good with the new tire model.., but maybe more practicing changes my opinion -don't know yet.

Marco you can't use the same setup, and expect a different car to work in the same way. You can adjust the understeer working on your setup. Tires are the key on all racing sims, any small change there will change the balance and the way your car will react.
During our pre-release testing, each time that Kunos was sending us a new update we needed to adjust our setup slightly.
Give yourself sometime to get used to the new physic, and I'm sure you will find your way through.

if you guys are wondering how to change the RPM lights in the KS2, here is the solution:

    nkpro12\cars\FormulaKS2\nkdk\testDash.nkd (open it with notepad)

Noticed on a lot of youtube replays where the red bar is cliping alot, about 40% of the lap.
Not sure if its a problem with the replays or people are setting there ff way to high. Ive also noticed a lot of setup set to 1.800 not sure if this is normal for g25/27 users but with my fanatec i have it set to .400 and this is still giving my arms a bit of a working, but with no clipping. One thing i found out is how important it is to optimise the force gain.

According to what Kunos said, the ff gain should be set in a way that the red bar isn't usually on. the bar related to the ff should be usually around 3/4 during cornering and get to the top (red) only on kerbs on bumps.

If the bar reach the top (red) means that the signal of the ff is saturated, therefore will not give you the correct feeling.

I usually set ff around 0.9 on my g25

Sometimes, you might not seen a server if it is located too far away from you or if it has huge ping.

the add button will allow you to display a server that inserting IP and port (if you know them)

Some people including myself were wondering about the car-'montage' time in full mode in case when you just refill your car with fuel in the quali.
It took me 2-3 min. just to fill 9l of fuel into my car in full mode !!?, I never experienced this before in v1.1 (when filling fuel just took 10sec. or s.th. around that), is this normal now in v1.2 or did I something wrong.. ?

I will definitely ask kunos to review full mode reparation times. There is no way we can use it in the league otherwise.

It was the same for me yesterday. 5 min for 20 liters of fuel it like someone refills the car by hand if you know what i mean Laughing
So if this are the times to refill fuel we 'll never do a pit stop during the season i guess except for changing tires

I never had any problems with Netkar graphics on this new version I slowdowns and I find the quality of graphics and colors (colors duller, less shine together more bland) was well below the 1.2 b that seemed perfect

dont know Andrea but it is in the original 1.2 release notes perhaps you can ask Kunos next time you speak to him.

Im having problems picking up all the servers on the server list eg at the moment it says 40 servers but at most I pick up 27. Its usually a diff number of servers per refresh. A couple of times it picked up 48 of 40, I counted up the users 58 people online at one time until I noticed some of the servers came up twice.

Also noticed that Darin has scored the KS2 on top sim cars at number 5. Im betting the Ks2 didnt score highly on the default setups, with a good set of default setups (like the rsr sets posted) the Ks2 may have made top spot.

lol! The default setups ARE the RSR setups we posted! asd
We decided to post them also because, if you had the v1.1 already installed, you had already a default setup in your setup folder (unless you wipe the setup folder out).

We developed those default setups based on a testers version before the v1.2 was released. Unfortunately Kunos did some small changes on the car, therefore our setup for the KS2, at least is now a bit understeering.

    Checking on http://www.racesimcentral.com
I found this article by Darin Gangi
    Darin Gangi wrote:
As I was checking out the new Formula KS2 (which I love by the way) in NetKar Pro, I noticed that there were only generic colors for the skins. I did a web search and found this site called Radiator Springs Racing. It’s basically a forum that has mods for Netkar as well as some series going on.

In this forum, I found a pretty decent set of skins for the new Formula KS2 which by the way is based on what Im assuming is a GP2 or Formula 2 car.

Thanks to Mario Gilles and Giancarlo Graziano who did the work on these skins.
Also, thanks to the guys at Radiator Springs for sharing ! To check out more pictures of the skins you can go to the thread directly here.

    This made my day Wink
