    Hey guys Smile

Such a good news here for last few weeks!

I have only one question (I'm making an announce at our site): What league to choose if I will drive alone for example, i.e. without any team?

    Thank you.

We currently have 2 leagues active:
    - F1800 League for the upcoming championship
    - Special Events for all other events we will organize outside of the championship. No custom team in this league. Just join the default "Radiators-champ team".

I would suggest in any case to be subscribed to both leagues.

If you don't have a team, you can use the default team "Radiators-champ" even in the F1800 league

Please remember that to complete your registration on the league isn't enough to register the team and create an account for pilots.
You need even to associate your pilot to your team for the specific league.

Refer to this step by step guide, if needed. The missing phase is "Select Team and League".

you need to see both your pilots in the Teams & Drivers list.

Those are, at the moment teams registered to the league, but without drivers:
    netKar-PRO.ru
    Lastplace.RT
    SPB GP

HOW TO CHANGE YOUR TEAM'S COLORS
Team managers can change team's color in GPCOS selecting from the control panel "Maintain team profile".
You can change Background and font color. It's using HTML hexadecimal color codes.

No special requirements for the number of your car. Just put on your skin whatever you want. Doesn't have to be related to what is written in gpcos. Numbers will be assigned in gpcos in a sequential way just to make it easier to read the results.

    Here are the key points:

    - 9 Circuits, 6 new tracks.
    - Formula Ford 1800
    - 2 races per event every Thursday
    - qualification on the same day before each race
    - No prequalification
    - Groups based on the classification after each event
    - Point system that should allow group swapping
    - Points compensation for drivers that miss some races
    - Points compensation for drivers that join the ongoing championship
    - 2 drivers per team
    - Drivers and Team classification

    Hope that helps Smile

For this championship we decided to avoid having prequalifications sessions.
We prefer that, during the days between races, all of you will spend much more time in racing sessions than in long practical sessions to get the best lap.
We don't want hotlap masters, but drivers with awareness of how to be on track with other drivers around.

For this reason we decided to have a completely different approach:
    First Event: Montreal
we will create groups based on the following tables:

position will be taken selecting the position of the drivers of of our championship from the rank.

Is it important to be push for a better position on the rank? not really!!! Everything could change if some driver will not show up at the last moment.

The aim of this groups composition is to have:
    - quite homogeneous groups in terms of drivers strength
    - as many different drivers as possible in the same groups between race1 and race2
    - homogeneous number of participants per group (with a minimum of 10 per group in case of 31 drivers)

Only for this first event in Montreal (for both race1 and race2) all groups will have the same point distribution (RSR_POINTS A)

This is our backup plan in case less than 30 people will show up on the racing day

    Following Events:
We will create the groups based on the classification (in the order displayed in gpcos in case of drivers with the same number of points)
    Group A: 1-15
    Group B: 16-30
    Group C: 31-45

Groups will be the same for the full event (Race1 and Race2) and will be re-arranged based on the new classification for the next event.

New drivers joining the championship during the season
will get the number of point of the first driver in group B - 40 points
this will allow him to go up or down in few races.
From a simulation I made an extremely fast guy joining at mid season always winning races in group B will be promoted in group A after 6 races.
I hope numbers will keep steady, and we will have always good number of drivers, but from previous experience, we want to make things interesting for drivers joining after few races, that would have been otherwise penalized by our pointing system.

We believe that our points system will allow to have quite a lot of changes during in the groups during the season in the middle field, but will allow the good drivers to end up racing together.

    Entry List and Groups requirements

Here are the groups for Race1 and Race2 based on the current Rank positions, and allocations.

You can check the Entry List on our main page also (on the bottom left of www.radiators-champ.com there is a link "Entry List").

To be part of the race, there are 3 requirements:
    - all drivers to have at least one ranked time on Montreal F1800 before the 31st of August.
    - all drivers should be allocated in gpcos for this race.
    - drivers that have a different name on the rank and on gpcos should communicate here asap. Name are listed in the tab NameConversion

For this championship it will be really important to place your allocation in GPCOS. Groups will be always based on the allocation. Please update it in case you want to participate to the race. If you can't race anymore, please update it again.

This will speed things up a lot during our briefing.

Please note that this Entry List page is not automatically refreshed based on rank/allocation, and will be updated from time to time.
Position on the rank to organize groups will be taken on the 31st August.

Please check the Entry List before going on track, because we might change it until the end of the briefing.

From the second event on, this process will be fully automated.
