New video
of a fantastic work... in progress for the Mugello track...



Some notes about this video:
this video was realized using temporary texture (not the one you saw in Culmone's screenshots), and with not optimized light and transparencies on some objects.

The goal of this beta release, for the beta testers only, was mainly for testing the performance with the new objects. The result was impressive!

Surely 'un oeuvre' of beauty - and love.

Busy weekend at Radiator Springs.
Here some more screenshots showing the latest updates. Andrea modeled some new objects and Mauro refined some parts of the track.
Giovanni is finally back from his short vacation, and today he gave us a new HD package (some of the textures are still temporary).

It's a team work, not only mine! Mauro, Giovanni, Mario and me are working all together. In every screenshot you can see the work of each of us. Everyone is doing his best to have a nice add-on track!

If I can make a little part to help a bit, here a link to download a short vid from Moto GP 08 demo with Mugello track! Maybe you know it, if not look at it to find maybe some ideas for your own work here?!
I love the work there with track, amazing grafics, especially the wide view at the hills, gras, sky, tarmac and woods ec.!
But dont like the bikes to drive!! LOL!

Thanks a lot Zoltan. We downloaded that demo as well when we heard that it was possible to drive on Mugello with it.
They have done an excellent work with their textures. As you said hills and everything that is around the track is spectacular.
Lately we discovered a new software, similar to Google Earth, but with a better terrain resolution, and we are analyzing deeply shapes an colors of what is around the track.

We need high resolution photos, though, and we will try to get the full horizon trying to do a complex puzzle from the pictures we have.
We hope we can get good results as well, but we are working on it.
