    04 Nov 09: Phillip Island

Post by Andrea Lojelo on Thu Oct 29, 2009 1:34 am

We will have two races on the same layout on Phillip Island on the 500 Abarth:

    21:00 CHAT
    Race1: Phillip Island
    Qual: 15 min
    Race: 10 Laps

    CHAT
    Race2: Phillip Island
    Qual: 15 min
    Race: 25 Laps

Just as A1 Ring, Phillip Island is a beta version from the namie, so take it as it is! non transparent textures for some objects, and eventually some holes somewhere.
Once on the track you will soon forgot about those problems since the track layout is great! We could have good races over there!

You can download the track here

Today we run few laps just after Monaco's race. At the beginning going back to the Abarth was really shocking. We were even thought for a second, just as a joke, of course, to change the schedule and use the Ftarget instead of th Abarth, since one lap take ages with the small 500!
Then we had a race! Guys you should try it! All of us were really close. This track allow different driving lines, and there is space enough to have great fun!
So... no regret on our choice! It's gonna be a nice race!!

Just as a side note: on GPCOS this race is registered as Newbury. Correct informations are inside the race info. This is because it's not an official track, so it's not in the public GPCOS.

Create nkrefs.ini (with notepad) in the directory tracks\phillipisland\server (server folder needs to be created)
    and paste the following text.

What a wonderful track is Philips Island !
And it's very funny drive the 500 in that track !

    Dear Drivers,
as you might have heard we have now a new website:
    http://www.radiators-champ.com

We have now a new custom installation of our league management system, GPCOS. This will help us to better organize our championship in the future and offering a better service.
We already migrate all races from the old system, but we need your help to create your account and team.

So please, create your accont on http://www.radiators-champ.com .
If you are a team owner, please create the team as well and subscribe to the All-Round Series, and ask your team mates to join your team.
Then please allocate for next races. This will help us to better organize the entry list for the servers.

    Next events:
Wednesday 4 November: Big Wednesday Season (All-Round Series). Phillip Island, Abarth. 10 laps; 25 laps
Sunday 8 November: Endurance. Spa-Francorchamps, Ftarget. 44 laps
Wednesday 11 November: Big Wednesday Season (All-Round Series). Lastplace, Abarth. 10 laps; 25 laps

We will be using our new chat as well:
    http://www.radiators-champ.com/Extra/chat/flashchat.php

Please login using Username: Name Surname. No password is required (leave it empty).
We are now working on fully integrate it with our new website (if you are logged in our website you can already join the chat using the Chat tab on the top without inserting your username).

We will still use the old website as well until the end of the Big Wednesday Season.
    http://sites.google.com/site/radiatorchampionship
We will keep both website updated. We hope you can help us doing the same with your allocations.

If you have any suggestions of you find any bug, please don't hesitate to contact us.
