    What car do we have? I thought Riccardo Azzoli said quite recently it was a F304 with a Opel Spiess engine.

    302,303 e 304 in fondo sono la stessa macchina, a parte 2 o 3 aggiornamenti...poi c'è la famiglia 305/306/307, 308/309/310/311, ed oggi e' stata presentata la 312 (l'ultima cifra è l'anno della macchina)! Chiederemo a Kunos che faccia un aggiornamento!

    208 bhp @6250 RPM
    265 Nm @5500 RPM
    with a limiter at 8000 RPM (so very high).
    torque and power goes down quite fast after their maximum, so isn't worth shifting after th 6300 RPM.

    AIM lights are correct are correct.
    {nk folder}\cars\Ftarget\setup\aim.ini
    Code:

    [AIM]
    RPM1=5900
    RPM2=6000
    RPM3=6100
    RPM4=6200
    RPM5=6300
    AL1=1
    AL2=2
    AL3=3
    AL4=4
    CHANNEL1=9
    CHANNEL2=1
    CHANNEL3=2
    CHANNEL4=17
    CHANNEL5=0
    ENABLED=1

    The problem is the sound. if you look at the
    {nk folder}\cars\Ftarget\sfx\engine.nke
    we have the onhigh sound that is used between 7000 and 10000 rpm, that's definitely too high.

    [SAMPLE_4]
    FILENAME=Ftrgt-onhigh.wav
    IN=7000
    OUT=10000

    I'm not sure if this is done on purpose or it's a mistake.

    Does anyone have time to do some experiments with the sound changing the IN and OUT for the samples?
    It should "feel" right to shift at 6300 RPM.
    I would try with the onhigh sample setting IN around 5800-6000 and have an even distribution with the lower revs samples.

    I have been trying to solve the LED blip, for me changing @6300 RPM does not seem right, when you change gear you are already @ 6000 RPM , so you accelerate just 300RPM then change gear again, for me the LED's are always flashing, so here is what i have changed , it seems to be more realistic.

    (backup the original)
    Put this in {nk folder}\cars\Ftarget\setup\aim.ini

    [AIM]
    RPM1=6000
    RPM2=6200
    RPM3=6400
    RPM4=6600
    RPM5=6800
    AL1=1
    AL2=2
    AL3=3
    AL4=4
    CHANNEL1=9
    CHANNEL2=1
    CHANNEL3=2
    CHANNEL4=17
    CHANNEL5=0
    ENABLED=1

    for what i see here, it´s just a matter or personal taste (if i understand what you are talkin about Very Happy )
    you have to shift at a certain rpm, let say 6300rpm, so you can setup the leds acording to shift when the first led blinks or with the last red led blinking,
    if you set rpm5 to 6800 and you shift at the red leds you will be shifting beyond the power line of the engine.

    so if the best RPM to change at is 6300, you only have 300/400 RPM in each gear, so that means you are changing gear every 2 seconds.
    The thing that annoyed me with the LED lights was that when you change gear they were already flashing, so they serve no purpose.

    In this case I think it depends on how you set your gears ratios. Maybe your gears are too close between each other.

    i have found the same thing with different setups , I have used the default and today I tried J Anton's. And it is always the same with the LED lights.
