Pochi giorni fà è uscita questa nuova variante di antialiasing simile all'FXAA di nvidia. Dovrebbe pesare meno sulle prestazioni rispetto al classico MSAA e dare qualità simile se non migliore (almeno su netkar il trasparence AA AMD dà artefatti, questo invece no) e cosa importante non "blurra" le texture ne il testo.

A few days ago came out of this new variant of anti-aliasing like nvidia all'FXAA. It should weigh less performance than the classic MSAA and give similar quality if not better (at least on the Netke trasparence AA AMD gives artifacts, but this not) and what is important not blur the texture and the text.

Basta copiare i file delle cartelle d3d9 (per netkar) o d3d10, in base al gioco, nella cartella dove si trova l'exe principale. Tutto comunque è spiegato nel readme allegato, mi piacerebbe sapere cosa ne pensate!

(Ingame i have 0 anti-aliasing and the others full and i put everything to full from CCC)

i have Ati HD5700 1gb ddr5 and 8GB ram, and my fps its not bad, run it around 185/200 fps in box @ Imola

i'have setting my CCC on defoult setting or performance but in nkp i put AASAMPLES X4 whit risolution at [email=risolution1920x1200@32bit]1920x1200@32bit[/email] 60HZ

FXAA è nvidia e MSAA è Ati a quanto ho capito... scusa ma ci capisco zero.

secondo te è errato impostare l'AAx4 direttamente da nkp(di più non me ne fà mettere). Comunque grazie dell'ottimo avviso magari lo provo visto anche la sua semplicità di intallazione.

Queste tecniche di antialiasing sono basate sugli shader, diciamo che è tutto post processing, per questo sono più leggeri da gestire rispetto al classico MSAA. L'FXAA(con il suo inject funziona similmente a questo, ma da poco è anche nei driver Nvidia) e MLAA (amd 5xxx-6xxx) blurrano molto sia il testo che le texture, l'SMAA consiste in ottime performance senza blur, comunque usciranno ancora evoluzioni ma già ora fà davvero un bel lavoro se servono prestazioni. Naturalmente essendo un effetto di post processing si può sommare al MSAA tradizionale in netkar (ricordo che l'MSAA non smussa le texture trasparenti tipo reti di protezioni ecc. questo invece si) e avere ancora più qualità. Vaggelis i have the same card (6950 2GB), I use only the AF16x in that screens plus the SMAA, probably the CPU make the difference (i7 860).
