Re: Season 2010
Now that netKar PRO v1.1 beta3 is finally out, it's time to go back on track again!
We are now finalizing the new championship, obviously with the new beta3!
We decided that our upcoming championship will be with the F2000.
To start familiarizing with the new car, we organized 3 races for coming Wednesday (20 Jan 2010).
breifing 20:45 in our forum chat
Crema 21:00
Prato 22:00
Aviano 23:00

This preparation races will be out of contest for the championship, but will assign trophies for the Hall of Fame.
Please create your account on our website http://www.radiators-champ.com , if you haven't done it yet.
If you want you can create your own team (max 2 drivers per team).
For this new championship we will consider drivers standings and team standings.
If you don't have a team you can join the default Radiators-champ team.
Please allocate for each race to help us organizing the correct amount of servers.
See you on track!
More informations about the training day here.
More informations about the new championship and the calendar of the official races soon.

Re: Season 2010
As you may notice from the previous diagram we have now two groups that will help us to process the incident report.
Our intention is that those groups should be composed not only by Radiator Springs Members, but even by external members.
In this way we hope the judgement could be as transparent as possible.
Do you want to be part of it? This will help us quite a lot.
What you will need to do is simply viewing some replay once in a while and give your opinion about it.
We hope that filling a incident report is the last option for drivers.
In the end, we should not focus on analyzing incidents, but on having good and clean racing. Incidents are part of that. Only in case of real avoidable incidents, incident reports should be filled out. When the driver feels that the incident could have been avoided, he should contact the other driver. The Verification Team and the Court of Appeal should be involved only if communication is not possible.
The procedure to be part of these groups is extremely simple:

We hope to see some of your name soon.

Re: Season 2010
e i tempi migliori come verranno presi per stilare i gironi A e B? I server registreranno in automatico? Come funziona? Entro e corro quanto mi pare su Crema per 4 gg fino ad abbassare il più possibile i tempi? E come controlliamo che chi corre faccia sector 1 o 2? Salvo replay del mio tempo migliore e ve lo invio?

Re: Season 2010
From the rules:
•Each event starts with a 4 days prequalification session. At the end of the 4 days the results will be published on our website. At the moment it is not possible to have live timing for the prequalification session.
•All drivers are required to save the replay in which they drove their quickest lap in PQ. Please use the replay editing tool to edit the replay to only contain the lap itself (and not the out and in lap). The replay should contain also last corner of the out lap. A link to the replay must be submitted to the Verification Team upon request.
We don't have live timing for now. We hope Jaap could give us an update of GPCOS in the next months.
You can run as many laps you want on the prequalification servers. Your time will be stored automatically.
At the end of the 4 days we will publish the results.
You need to store your replay of your PB, since the VT might ask for it. If you don't have the replay or the lap is not valid you will be penalized.
We expect everyone to know our rules and to respect them.
One of our most important rule is:
This is a gentlemen championship. Therefore it is expected from everyone to be the controller of himself.

It would be good to have a rank at the end of each day of PQ to ceck positions
Sarebbe bene avere una classifica alla fine di ogni giorno delle PQ per controllare le posizioni

Re: Season 2010
I agree with you Luigi. It would be really useful to have results every day, but, unfortunately we don't have a parser of the log at the moment.
Publishing the results everyday will screw things up for the classification at the end of the 4 days.
Unfortunately this is the only option that we have at the moment.
We are looking at other options but so far we haven't found anything.
Having results only at the end will force people to push to their limit to try to get a better position blindfolded.
We hope people will be on prequalification servers a bit more to get an estimation of what other people are doing.
You can use the topic dedicated to each race, to exchange information about reference time.
We know this is not the best, but it's the best we can offer for now. We hope you can live with it.
We think it's important also to have prequalification session since this was what the most of the driver asked for last season.
We will try to improve our prequalification system as soon as possible.
If you have any idea that could solve the problem, please let us know.
